Good point AF...but then he could follow Dixie Dean in being another great Evertonian to die at a game! I'm not sure whether Messrs Ferguson or Hodgson etc are sprightly enough to join in the training and kick balls around with the players these days, but I could be wrong.

Maybe Royle could do the job with a decent coaching staff around him that could handle more of the day to day "formulaic" training, with Royle concentrating on transfers and tactics....and team motivation.
