Hahaha, cheers, I do think 25-30mil estimates are a bit wild when there are mowers to buy like

The £30m price thrown around earlier on in the season was always nonsense, he's never worth anywhere near that. He has potential to be worth close to that but he's still very much learning and things don't always work out the way people believe it will when it comes to players improving - he has the right attitude and motivation to go along with his potential though.

If Chelsea are going to sell him in the summer then the value based on his potential should and no doubt will be included in the add-ons and sell on fees rather than the base price. I'd still expect him to go for around £15m though, you'd just have to hope other clubs don't come in for him and start a bidding war and push the price up to unreasonable levels.

By the sounds of it, he's missing one or two elements that would make him a great player, but he's still only 20. The interesting thing for him to consider is that here, with Roberto, he could be the player we build a team around. If we don't have the cattle further up the paddock that can feed to his style, then paying top dollar for him means that we need to get them in.

He & Barkley, evolving a game plan styled around their play...what more could a 20 year old ask for?

don't understand jose on this, i really don't. the kid is pure class and it's plain to see he will be one of the best in the world in his prime!

with him being totally out of favour i'm hoping we could probably get him for possible a little under what they originally paid for him? sure there'll be interest from bigger clubs, but he seems to want first team football and those teams may just be buying him for future. he'd be a great signing for an arsenal though.

I can, short termism has always been his way. He wants success now and has never really built sides with a long term plan in mind. He brings results but spends a fortune doing it with already established players, can't remember many young gems he has turned into stars over the years, he just buys the end product.

good point. at this point lukaku is better than Ba, would probably have done better than the other two as well. he's good enough, nevermind old enough. mind you chelsea seem to get a load of goals from their attacking mids rather than them assisting the strikers so he'd probably have the same problem he has here.

And he really needs to work on his first touch!
This is why I can't understand all the talk of us "breaking the bank" to buy him in the Summer.Trapping or chesting down the ball and laying off a short pass is the sort of thing you learn in the school playground.I know he's only 19 but if he hasn't mastered it by now, will he ever? And given the way we are set up it's pretty important

He scores a goal every other game for us and has done the same for west brom and also before for anderlecht in belgium.

So thats 19 goals a season in the premiership as a 20 year old on average. Who was the last u21 forward with this record??
