Very impressive today. Link up play was good, he was mobile, energetic and put his head on the line to grab a winner. Bold statement but I don't think he has a weakness as a striker

We just need to enjoy this guy while he's here. Would love us to sign him long term but realistically it just isn't going to happen. What a performance he put in today though. It feels like cheating having him on the pitch!

how about

Whats that coming over the hill is it a monster, is it a monster?

and then the other sections sings

No its the predator, its the predatorrrrrrrrr

While I wouldn't rule it out completely and I wouldn't want to bring anyone down on what is a boss day, I agree here.

Let's just buzz off him while he's contracted unless something concrete happens.

What a breath of fresh air seeing a striker able to hold the ball up and bring others into play whilst staying on his feet. Just shows what a difference he made and the type of forward we need to seek to keep in touching distance of the richer clubs.

This part alone is nice enough. How we finished 6th when our top scoring striker contributed 4 goals is beyond me!

If Chris Holley is reading, it'd be much appreciated if you could lash a performance video of Romelu from today up on youtube or Vimeo or something lar. x

....I didn't think his back to goal play was good and that's why I suspect he's out on loan , but when the ball is in front of him heaven help the opposition. I'm saying he might well dovetail with us and we might dovetail with him. He's a brute that might not fit with Chelski, he's not fancy but he might just find his home here. If that's the case it will cost....

Saw he had a good debut for you today. Told you he'd do wonders for your team. He could have had a couple today with a bit of luck and seemed to bring everyone else into play. It's great that he got off to a running start, lets hope his form continues.

Congrats on beating the spanners.

The last time we had a centre forward who could put the fear of life into the opposition was ferguson. He came here on loan, immersed himself and ultimately fell in love with the club. I am not expecting lukaku to do that, but there were similarities with dunc, in the way he changed the atmosphere of our support from the moment he came on. His mere presence on the pitch not only lifted our support, but also gave belief and lifted the play of the players around him. Great start long may it continue!
