he's not that great yet. His hold-up play, first-touch, passing is very poor. He needs the ball fed (see feed the yak), which limits his value somewhat.

He is 20 and knows very well that being the main striker for a top 6 team is much better than being a backup for a champions league team (for now), 2-3 years and he will be ready and will have 10 years ahead of him to play for an elite European team

I think Chelsea would prefer to sell him overseas. I think he'd prefer to stay in the Prem, and I can see where you're coming from in preferring to be top 6. I just think 12M is really low. 20 would be hopeful in my opinion, kid is only 20 years old and is a proven goal scorer in the Prem.

If we enter into negotiations, we will offer something as down payment + installments + add-ons (couple of millions if we qualify for Champions League) + sell on commission to Chelsea, all in all the deal will be worth something in total but in reality will be much less paid by us directly (happens with most deal anyway)

One day at a time, eh...a week ago we weren't sure if he was crocked for the season. Things change, people change...I'm just glad he'll be back relatively soon.
