If he’s faked sickness to not play he wants shooting. Club on its backside playing European champions with the kids whilst he’s at home getting paid. Get shot asap
He hasn't faked sickness. The manager has faked his sickness because he's too scared to admit to the fans that he's fallen out with our only LB at the club, during a time of crisis.

I like Digne but we need to be smarter in selling players. We can't keep players untill they are past it. We need to start selling some to reinvest in the team. In an ideal world we can keep are best players long term and add to them, but unfortunately we don't operate in the same circles as the like of city.

GET OUT OF EVERTON FOOTBALL CLUB

Ironically, @davek has had a massive issue and agenda to axe all three of those players - who have provided us with the biggest output.

He's now throwing messages about in bold towards Lucas Digne as though he's some kind of monster - yet he's the complete opposite.

Even if his last 12 months haven't been good enough, it's definitely not because he doesn't care and he definitely deserves more respect.

Yet @davek blindly backs an ex kopite that couldn't manage a small subway franchise and hails him as a messiah.

Disgrace.

Think Benetiz will naturally get the flack from the angrier fan's for this deal. But who really knows the details?

He's an International starter for France, played for PSG and Barca and for the past 4 years he's played in a mediocre Everton side under 5 different manager's?

Maybe he loves the club and wants to stay, maybe he wants to play champions league and challenge for titles? Who knows. Fair enough.

Potentially terrific player.

Been badly out of form for a long time now - under Ancelotti and Benitez.

Struggles to defend.

Have a feeling there's interest from a top team and he's thrown a bit of a wobbler.

Said on here for a long time he seems to have a bit of an ego. We'd get beat 4-0 and he and his agent would be sharing his personal successes in that match etc.

He cried off yesterday. No matter what reason you have, if you choose to not play when able then it's indicative of problems we've had with this set of players for a long time now.

I think Digne is probably toast at Everton.

28 and 29 before the start of next season. He's still got a few good years at his peak. However, in terms of maximising value, a sale in January or the summer may be the best option to sell.

Whether Digne is sold or not probably depends on how tight money is, what fee we can get for him and how we rate the potential of left backs we'd target to replace Digne. It feels like the latter point is covered in that a left back signing is imminent.

Ideal world, Digne would be kept. He might be the sacrificial lamb so that additions can be made another positions
