If Digne is sold who is likely to go after him?

Not sure any of the Top 3 in England need him. United and Arsenal probably don't either given their options at left back.

Barcelona are probably a no-no due to cost. He won't go to Bayern due to Davies.

Maybe Real Madrid though they have Ferland Mendy playing there most weeks and they don't seem like big spenders on experienced players anymore.

Maybe PSG though they have Mendes, Diallo, Kurzuwa and Bernat who can play left back.

If Digne wants to leave to play CL football and the club demand a fee of 25M or more then I'm not sure who is going to go after him. There doesn't seem to be teams that need a left back that have the necessary attraction to Digne and the funds to pay a decent fee.

Maybe someone like Newcastle is the option. Big fee and big wages. Feels a stretch though

Ironically, @davek has had a massive issue and agenda to axe all three of those players - who have provided us with the biggest output.

He's now throwing messages about in bold towards Lucas Digne as though he's some kind of monster - yet he's the complete opposite.

Even if his last 12 months haven't been good enough, it's definitely not because he doesn't care and he definitely deserves more respect.

Yet @davek blindly backs an ex kopite that couldn't manage a small subway franchise and hails him as a messiah.

Disgrace.
The war's over.

You lost.

GET OUT OF EVERTON FOOTBALL CLUB
I see prophet angry citrus has found his James Rodriguez button, and is hammering away yet again.

Funny how the talented, chance creating or chance taking footballers in out squad all seem to have a problem with Benitez and are bombed out the club - I wonder what the common denominator is there then?

Judging from the past few weeks, we could have killed for a bit of James off the bench or starting, but the Benitez acolytes assured us that he was crap for us cos benitez said so, and iwobi would do fine. Nice one.

Au revoir Lucas, best of luck lad.

We will soon be saying adeus to Richy, as well, I think.

Get in line with the team ethos or you’re out. Couldn’t be more clear. Allan is offering to play through injury for the team and this guy is turning down a place in the starting 11. Don’t need that kind of attitude here.

Digne is probably our most obvious asset to sell at this point, given his age, wages and lack of form. Cracking left back on his day but how many times have we seen that in the last 18 months? Not a huge amount.

We need to follow Leicester’s model of selling high at the right time and buying well, this could be the first example of us doing just that.

For years Digne has been one of our best attacking outlets, but being honest, he’s been increasingly susceptible defensively. His defensive flaws were more than made up for with his attacking output for the most part, but playing for a manayer who doesn’t value attacking fullbacks is a complete waste of his talents, and if anything highlights his flaws more so.

Can't remember Leicester forcing a player out.

It's like saying let sell Dom cos he's out most valuable asset
