He was superb in his first season, ever since he’s just been good. He still is but he’s not playing well at the moment. It happens.

He's been poor this season and some of last. I don't think the revolving door tactics has helped and the fact we rarely possess a threat down the right means if he doesn't fire we struggle. Was poor for the first goal and unlucky with 2nd. He needs a rest in midweek and then hopefully back at it next Saturday. I believe he will get back to where he was but might be a rough ride until then.

Anybody still going to debate the fact modern full backs start to decline at 28-29 years old?

Got stick for saying Dumfries was too old and we wouldn't get out moneys worth, hopefully people will start to look at the facts now. Just crazy Brands was willing to spend big money on a full back over the age of 23.... Worrying lack of football knowledge from our DoF.

He was very good going forward first season, nobody had heard of him so a bit of a free run.
Teams caught on to him after that and along with our system/personnel his attacking play has been limited. Defensively he's championship standard.
Imo has always been suspect disciplinary wise and too often dives in and gets caught.
Hardworking and doesnt seem to kick up a stink like others but wouldnt have him near the armband like some were suggesting previously.

He's been poor for a while. Has always been suspect defensively but his delivery in attack has made up for it. Unfortunately his delivery in attack has been gash this season but there's nobody pushing him for a place.
