Looked absolutely knackered from minute one, barely wanted to get involved with anything and always needed an extra touch.

I suppose it's testament to how inconsistent he is that I am not bothered one way or the other if he signs an extension. Obviously, I hope he does, but I wouldn't be losing any sleep over it. Even James, who is a wonderful player, is probably only here for the season. Unless Carlo can get all of these guys firing consistently, the issue will be with the general calibre of the squad than any individual who decides to stay or go.
