A great lad. Lucky to see him play for us. What are the chances of replacing a player like Baines with someone as good as Digne?

I just wish we were as good at picking players for the other 10 positions as we are with left backs.

Agree with this, don’t think we got him on the ball enough in their half - particularly 2nd half. Would prefer to see him back at left back so he’s has space to run into, can run on to the ball and is more difficult to mark.

Thought he started the second half too deep and was almost playing like a second left back outside Godfrey - left the two centre midfielders isolated and with too much ground to cover. The midfielder four completely lost their shape right from the beginning of the second half for some reason.
