waste of space and his name was Henry Newton. Digne looks reasonable in a poor team, I think you are probably right about Pep Offering 'silly money',

Digne is a good player and in an attacking sense he’s up there, but still not that solid defensively. Our best signing but he’s not close to the best LB’s until he cuts out those simple errors in his defensive game. Too many silly and needless fouls in dangerous positions for my liking
