At the end of the day martinez is their boss, not their mate. It doesnt matter if they like him or agree with him, they are paid a very good wage to do a job. If they dont like it put in a transfer request and do one. But why everton are paying their wages nothing short of 100% should be given, and i am not seeing that.

And where would that get us? Stuck with a manager who only knows one way to play and our best players sold off to our rivals.

I'm sure Roberto must be one of the highest paid people at the club and he is falling way short of earning that right now. Its all well and good the players giving %100 (which i don't think they are right now), but if all they are doing is what they are asked of from the boss, and it clearly doesn't work, you have to question the man at the top.

I think there's a bunch of blues more worried about being labelled a kopite because they want a deluded fraud of a manager sacked

Thinking your uber blues cos you stick with a joke, Wellguess what our club is turning into one

Where has the idea that Martinez is a fraud come from?

Fraud is a criminal act of deception or false representation. How does this apply to Martinez?

Everyone is entitled to have a view on his management capabilities, good or bad, but I think calling him a fraud is frankly offensive.

Spot on.

I think it's becoming increasingly clear that a lot of people around the club and around this forum aren't maybe as blue as they paint themselves.

I think a lot of people decided that martinez wasn't for them and rather than change their opinion as he did better (and hands up, I used to hate him but I don't see how admitting you were wrong when thigns change is a weakness) have set their stall up. The worst thing in the world is to be wrong on the itnerent so if you said bobby wasn't up for it, well better hope bobby wasn't up for it.

I think a lot of our so called supporters are enjoying us being bad, relishing our bad form because it allows them to prove themselves right in their doubts.

If you didn't rate howard and distin and osman, you get to blame them for sabotaging bobby. if you didn't want martinez in, you get to blame him for upsetting our players.

This isn't everton and I dodn't think people who are so eager to see us lose so they can stick knives in (to either side) are really evertonians.

True blues get behind our team and that includes both our manager and our players.

We're in bad form and it's not acceptable but this night of the long knives, bad apple hunting, stuff is beneath us.

If you want Martinez sacked or half our squad sacked based on 4 bad games, maybe you're not supporting the right club.

Can't be having this, personally speaking I never wanted rid of the manager but my patience is wearing extremely thin, we all know about last year it was for the most part a great campaign, record point's haul and a real sense that Roberto was trying to bring the "School of Science" back. But dating back to last January crack's have started to appear, first mistake was paying £1.5m for McGeady when we could have had him for free in the summer, I wouldn't have paid 50k for him then and I wouldn't do so now.

He also failed to strengthen last January when 4th place was more than obtainable, now this may be down to lack off fund's but he said all he wanted was McGeady. The derby capitulation at Anfield was horrendous and was the first real inclination that Roberto had no plan B, the horrendous team selection against Crystal Palace when he rested McCarthy was another error.

This Summer he gave contract extension's to Hibbert,Osman, Distin and signed Garth Barry for 3 years and not Luke Garbutt... ALL HORRENDOUS MISTAKES
£28m for Lukaku, jury is still out on this but it certainly doesn't look good at this stage. Think the lad could be a beast but not when his back is usually to goal as Martinez seem's to want him to play.

Pre Season has already been discussed in loads of threads on here. HORRENDOUS preparation.
Failure to add a goal keeper to the squad that's actually good.. HORRENDOUS
Same for wingers.
Ross Barkley
Where are all these young starlet's he raved about as PHENOMENAL
7 wins in 25 games??? Steve Clarke got sacked when from West Brom for much less.

Forgive me for daring to question our manager:confused:

And happy new year fellow blues #nsno

Does your boss have to inspire you before you work for your wage or do sit there waiting for him to tell you how good you are? And if he doesnt do you stop trying.
I am in a results driven business, if my projects don't make money, my contract is terminated. I survive because I motivate my team and get the best out of them. I don't even get to pick my team. Football is far more results driven and winning is far and away the most important thing. We don't even look to winning a game close at present. There is a motivational leadership problem, when this happens, change the leader.

Sorry mate, he's a Premier League manager and has been for several years, he's not pretending to be one.

You're entitled to say whether you think he is good or bad, that's your privilege, but you cannot call him a fraud.

Literally have 0 problems with that. I think it was a shrewd move tbh. You sign a player on a precontract and that club has to either sell him for pittance or to let him leave for nothing.

And i think it was actually closer to £750k thinking back.

Obviously wish it was on a better player but the business model is a smart one for clubs like us that have limited resources. Should do it more often honestly.
