Losing to Arsenal...would it be so bad?

If a loss to Arsenal handed them 4th over RS, would you be happy?

...it's all a bit premature to be thinking of our result in the last game just yet. A few ifs and buts need to happen before we can judge but it's certainly a bit interesting now. Indeed, if West Ham fail to take anything tomorrow the final day of the season could be totally meaningless. Not sure what Sky will make of that.

Even if West Ham lose tomorrow it's not over. Going into the final game it will be 1pt between (so long as Arsenal win their game in hand vs Sunderland). The RS just have to drop points in one of their games

haha! Funnily enough, Talksport, (Sky lite), were promoting the Borough/Southampton match all week under the strap line of "With 2 teams with absolutely nothing to play for!"

Was quite funny.

Will still be Skytastic somehow mind.

Throw the game. It's only fair considering we give Liverpool a 6 point head start on everyone each season anyway. Look at it as a way of balancing things out.

..they'll only have Boro left at home and with the greatest will in the world it would be hard to see anything but a win.

Let's see this thread tomorrow evening - I know how bad West Ham are - and I know that however bad the RS are - there is always a new UEFA rule available in case of emergency.

West Ham are shocking. Klopp has taken a bang average side sat pretty in a place of refined success (it's the net spend, laaaa) to a state of potential UEFA intervention should the Autumn League winners do another slip.

Should it come to us losing v Arsenal to decide the new trophy of fourth...we could try and still lose.

Let's see tomorrow whether or not it's worth Kone starting (in goal) next week.
