Losing 'Faith' with this forum

I feel better already after discussing last night.
Isn't that what forums are about?

As for individual players, that will always be down to personal opinion.

Some love Cahill, some think he's over the hill, but all that matters is how he performs on the pitch.

Opinions do not qualify fans as blues. It's what they feel inside that counts, from the explosive joy to the stomach twisting frustrations.

There is no consistency, because football is not consistent.(y)
Agree with this, and i do stand by my point that Moyes, technically, lied to us, although maybe i went too far in calling him a liar.

After the game last night I couldn't access Got for twenty minutes or so.... that really annoyed me even more, but as soon as it came back and i could vent my spleen (kneejerk or not) it made me feel slighty better.
Although in the cold light of day this morning some of us probably would admit (me included) that we got a bit carried away with the moment - so what ?? - isn't that what fan forums are for ???

Personally I seldom post in or read an Everton related thread, after we lose. Call it self protection, but it only helps to get me even more pissed off, if I do. Did a lot of cursing on my own last night though. Can understand some fans getting completely outraged and overboard on those situations and spilling those frustrations on the forums, but it just isn't like me. Like to keep my frustrations to myself, so I won't say things I regret later.

You keep on swinging Cena, we can't lose folk who have a sense of perspective on here.

Don't let the negative rants get you down, just see it all for what it is. It's love, horrible twisted meltish love sometimes but love all the same.

May i point you in the direction of the medical advice thread? I started that earlier and members on THIS FORUM have gone out of their way to help me to help my son, none of whom have met me. Proof that the majority on here are good people and this is why i love GOT!

If i thought this forum was a bad place, i would never have returned. Sure you have a few testicles here and there, but most on the whole are sound.
If you want to lose faith in humanity, read the posts on kipper. Never will you see a bigger collection of escaped mental patients all trying to get noticed.

I knew it was going to happen, but i thought some blues might of had less of a chip on their shoulder due to recent results - but obviously not.

I will state first of all we were garbage last night. It was a bad performance and it was a tie we should of won over two legs - that's all i've got to say about that.

But the way some blues on here turn on the team after a bad result is a joke! I'm not saying players and staff are not free from criticism, if you had sat with me watching the game last night you would of saw me dishing out a lot, but it really winds me up when i come on here after a match and see some truley negative crap from so-called blues.

We'd just beaten the United and Chelsea and some we're saying we could win the league next season. Some we're praising the young players and saying how good a squad we have and how great Moyes is 'must be the best manager' and how we are the best 'pound for pound team' Europe.

Fast-forward five days, Moyes is a liar apparently, we should boo our team and not get behind them, certain players who were world-class less than a wek ago are now garbage and need to be sold, i just don't understand.

Now this is not a 'i'm leaving the forum' thread, but after reading some absolute drivel about the team i love, from our own supporters on this forum i really am losing faith in people who consider themselves blues.
I am at Spurs on sunday in another sell-out away end, 3 days after a Euro away game, i will be shouting, clapping and supporting every boy in blue, certainly not booing, and i can't wait! Have a word with yourselves some of you and ask if your support is really worthwile or are you here to just praise us when were good and **** us off when we are bad with absolutly no inbetween or thought about anything else.

Rant Over

I can understand what your saying here a bit; however, Supporters will allways do this because of their love for the team.. They look for reasons behind a loss or win...
Usually the manager/coach takes the brunt of it, but sometimes it's the players..
I didnt see the game V. Sporting but I knew this was coming.. Our boys are exausted... period.. .

Personally speaking if I believe Everton have played [Poor language removed] I will say so, i won't tip toe around anywhere. When I am at the game I will support the team playing, unlike some of the beauts who sit behind me and one in particular. You may have heard him - one tone, he's like the spokesperson for my end of the ground.

Forums are a place where you can discuss your issues about whatever they may be, although people (me included) behave differently on a forum because you have the safety blanket of security.

That being said, what the OP is basically saying is that nobody can have a negative thought about the club, and some of the threads started after the game really piss me off. Pre-empting angst or whatever?

There has to be a balance, and credit when it's due.

After we beat Man U and Chelsea there is a clear sense of optimism and the posts that followed those games demonstrated that. When they play poorly then I think the opposite can be expected, and allowed. Certainly after a shocking performance.

We are not Liverpool, we don't constantly revert back to Istanbul to make ourselves feel better.

We are also not Kipper and TW who are negative and swear worse than me.

We comment on the game and try and understand what went wrong, and how it can be rectified. Obviously it's only chat but this is what Everton fans do.

Sorry, scratch that - it's what football fans do.

You have to take the rough with the smooth, get it out of your system, dust yourself down and get back on the horse and try again.

You write the speeches for Mel Gibson movies don't you.

I've seen your work before.
