Considering im centre left and have called the right as being racist scum in this very thread I think you'll find that to be false.

But you're born into supporting Everton (well I would hope so!) But if you have the money to move why not do so? I know a lot of well off academic folk who never have a good word to say about the country but still decide to live here.

Being a working class scouser there is alot about this country I dont like and agree with but I still have pride in our war efforts and Churchill as a leader (regardless of him as a person) I still have pride living in this country that exercises freedom of speech and a country that gives me a good chance of living a healthy life with a roof over my head, food in my belly and the chance of employment which sadly many others around the world are not fortunate to have.

I just find it baffling how people seem to hate everything about a countries society, history yet choose to still live in it.

They’ve tried to get rid of that statue for years to no prevail, so took matters into their own hands. You’re talking about freedom of speech yet you’re wanting to shut down that same freedom of speech in regards to BLM.

What you’ve posted there is all well and good, but the reason we’re having these protests is because a lot of black people don’t live in the same country as a white man. It’s a completely different country they live in and people like you need to listen to them instead of shutting it down as some sort of leftie crusade.

As thats literally what a fringe of idiots have been doing - no ones arsed about the peaceful protests (apart from it being irresponsible during a pandemic) its the idiots smashing stuff up, attacking innocent people and animals and destroying property because they feel they have the right to.

If you cant see why thats wrong then there is no hope for you. Its the same idiots who think the IRA were justified blowing innocent people to pieces - abhorrent.
