Have to say mate, for someone who’s said he’s centre left countless times I am yet to see anything from you to suggest your centre left leanings.

A lot of your views place you firmly on the right wing, even venturing towards the far right at times.

What is it that’s puts you back towards the left?

The threshold should be extremely high when considering the risk of letting out certain groups of people who commit very serious crimes. Even if the stats say 5% of serial killers again reoffend, that's still 5 in every 100 released killing again.

It's not like a shoplifter reoffending.

Serial killers should never be let out. They are not criminal they are insane.

I can just about get my head around someone killing another person be it a crime of passion or revenge or whatever. Someone who kills multiple times is obviously not right in the head and never will be.

Like NHS and Admin staff? Many of them don't have that choice.

I don't disagree with keeping a murderer in for life although there are different kinds of murder so each case is individual.

I just think its really sloppy thinking when people say prisoners should not have privileges etc. You need that bargaining power especially with people who have pretty much given up caring about anything.

I havent a problem with what they are given inside mate - I just dont think premeditated murderers/high risk sex offenders/terrorists should be released.

Not everyone agrees on that so fair enough.
