I’m hoping it’s a case where you merely checked the videos and did not read the captions, as if that isn’t the case you’ve got this seriously wrong.

FWIW I agree with Zat on one thing here, it seems a bit mad to be assembling en masse during a pandemic. The UK, in particular, is far from being out of the woods with the coronavirus. COME AT ME LEFTIE LIBFLAKES, LET'S SEE WHAT YOU GOT

Also the economic issues that alot seem to be suffering will be far worse after COVID + this.

Although I did see people on news in London, and on the local news in Belfast, and lots weren't wearing masks. The crowds were possibly too big in London to be able to distance. It looked that way on TV, although I wasn't there so can't say for sure.

People will have had to make up there own mind whether they wanted to go, versus the potential risk of the virus. I don't know how big the risk was in the crowds but I'm sure there was some degree of risk. I'm all for personal responsibility but you have to accept the risk when you go into a large crowd.

The people in the crowd must have responsibly decided to risk getting the virus and passing it on to loved ones.

Im sure they sat down with relatives and friends and told them that they would be out protesting then would self isolate for 14 days.

Yes, and considering black people are more likely to die from it, it's a very big decision.

Which has been made by protestors and will affect every person they come into contact with.

Its extremely high risk.

I thought police did have enforcement power to ask people in a group of over 6 to go home. Although I don't really know what the rules are at this stage.

Not that enforcement would have been a sensible option yesterday.

There is an element of left wing scum who hide behind "liberalism" to cause bother and whenever they are pulled up on it they use the "fighting for equality/peace" excuse.

Anyone who has been attacking our police and causing trouble based on a racist problem with cops in a completely different country and society then as far as im concerned they are no better than some far right marcher and should have been wellied with rubber bullets.

Police need to get up off their knees and fine the daft sods like they were doing to anyone having a picnic or BBQ on a remote field/beach during lockdown.

The government (both here and in the States) have basically negated anyone taking precautions over coronavirus.

It's yesterdays news now, McDonalds is open. Lets queue for 3 hours for one...

If the world waits for Covid 19 to be over before protesting then there will be no protesting.

Seems the key now is to protect yourself and that's it.

With the beaches being packed last weekend and the protests this week, the next couple of weeks are gonna be make or break for the infection rate.

If it continues going down, despite all of this, it could be that the Italian scientist who`s staked his reputation on the fact that it`s losing it`s viral load is proved right.
