I don't think it will be long. Interesting to see Labour start talking about policy they would implement. Starmer must feel as though now is the time to ramp it up and offer an alternative. He must think an election is coming soon.

Nurse strike ballot is in a few weeks. Not heard anybody at work say they will vote for anything but a strike.
Big few weeks for the government and the NHS. Strikes, severe staffing crises and potentially a big scandal about to be all over the news, if rumours are true.

I was going to call it gross incompetence but they obviously knew this was going to happen and has been driven by their paymasters. Low taxes with Interest rates shooting up helps savers with little debt, the baby boomers get yet one more slice of cake. The kids in school now are going to be paying for it all with a crippled economy.

Defies believe doesnt it? I had a bit of sympathy after she took office, what with The Queen and all that. But there is not one single credible economic argument that makes that budget stack up.
