Dad was a Prof. for sure.

Doesn't mean much, a good 80% of the ones I put up with daily are in cloud cuckoo land, catastrophically incapable of seeing their limitations/why something is a bad idea/livid that the world doesn't recognise their greatness and that rules apply to them too.

It's fair to say that a significant proportion of academics are on the spectrum. Its what helps, and/or drives them IMO.
