Man up and have a go. Sake of this. I know it's hard to find, but somewhere in there I reckon there is good Everton team. Problem is, it rarely turns up. Too many times we've been beaten before a ball is kicked - want Rooney to show no fear and for some of our under performers to come out of their shell and play like they can win.

Never known us to be so accepting of a loss before a game. It ain't like us, but I get it, they've let us down on too many occasions. Perhaps it's time, against all odds to show that we have the character and bollocks to make a game of it. Fed up of being let down in this fixture - they ain't the Haarlem Globetrotters so stop pretending they are. They are happy to wallow in our struggles whilst forgetting that they are in their most barren spell since they made it to the top division.

I know we ain't great at the moment, but show some pride and make Sunday a game.

I wonder if Allardyce is going to use his sports psychologist to help the team get over their weird mental block they seem to get every time they visit Klanfield.

He’s used 2 subs and presumably keeping his last one until late on. 90 mins for the Fab Four then in a game they’re 5 up in.

I know you’re trying to gee everyone up, but this game has practically been a testimonial from the time the second goal went in. Barring any injuries their players will be fine.

Also I take no real pleasure in them playing a full strength team in Europe because it may tire them out for Sunday. We should have been going to Cyprus tomorrow with something to play for and frankly it’s demoralising and a horrible indictment of our season so far that we’re not.

I hope Allardyce spends every day between now and Sunday making his starting XI re-watch the RS's loss to Chelsea in 2014 that cost them the title. That game is obviously remembered for other reasons (quite hilarious reasons) but what I remember most is just how perfectly Mourinho set up Chelsea to take on a team that was blitzing through everyone at the time and managed to completely shut them down.

Throw every man behind the ball, take absolutely ages when we have a throw-in, goal-kick or set piece, have the defence and midfield always holding their lines and never commit more than two player to run forwards at them. It might sound humiliatingly small-time to do something like that in a derby game but the fact is it's what it necessary to stop a team with the attack force they have not putting 4, 5 or 6 past us. It's not the same as when Moyes used to go there and wave a white flag because he just had no belief we could pull off a game plan against them. This would just be classic Big Sam boiling the p*ss of him opposition by suffocating the life out of the game, he's gone there and done it before with worse teams.

I don't understand why so many on here would sooner settle out of court than go to trial.

So what if they have a bias jury?
So what if the judge is incompetent?
So what if they have an in-form prosecutor?
So what if all the past evidence is against us?

I hate the Derby!

It was a bad one that, I was bang in middle of their end, and was in Wembley underground before they lifted the trophy. I might change my opinion, so much misery to choose from.
Gutwrenching mate,1989 was different obviously due to the tragic circumstances, but 1986 we were in my own opinion the far better side over that season, but the record books say otherwise unfortunately.

Are you playing for a win or draw in this scenario?
