I had the joy of taking my kids to MY works Xmas party, got most of it on the radio. Pat Nevin was a nervous wreck with Martina. The fact that we snatched a draw when they dominated makes it all the better.

I loved how pathetic and petulant he was and it’s clear how much we’ve got under his skin but it’s worked to a degree as the Bbc have just reported how we managed to draw because of a ‘controversial penalty ‘ , a lie told often enough becomes a truth .

Negatives would be that our long wait, for a derby win of any sort continues.But we didn't roll over, unlike the last two occasions at their place.We salvaged a point from Anfield.So at least Liverpool will not be rubbing a derby win, into our faces this christmas.We'll take the point, and we'll break our derby and Anfield hoodoo, in the FA Cup in January.Big Sams royal blue army is still unbeaten!
