We know that Everton p1sses its collective pants at the thought of Anfield and has done for years so we all knew we would lose which makes it easier to bear.....but even by the spineless and terrified standards of Everton managers and teams against them tonight was awful.

I love to have Diego Simeone. Atletico were terrified of Real.....not any more. He put backbone into them. Same job needed here. We are terrified of them.

It usually makes no sense to sack a manager 2 days before the clubs biggest game of the season. But somehow it does make sense now.

It would be lunacy imo. Let him see the FA Cup out, but we need to terminate his contract at the end of the season regardless of FA Cup results.

You know what, the Derby defeats have been many over the years but that tonight was a whole other level.

At least during the majority of Moyes reign you could point to the fact they had genuine world class players and at least we on the most part 'competed'.

What happened out there this evening was complete humiliation. The most one sided game all season.
