Are you sick of the fact we can see their monstrosity of a new stand from everywhere in the city?

@chicoazul will write the preview for the homepage, it will appear there soon and I'll link it from here. Anyway we've got a game on tomorrow, so I hear.

Gulp. The performance against Southampton was hardly confidence inspiring was it?

And such a big week coming up to. Away at Anfield eh? Where we haven't won since 1999. My mind always flits back to the Kanchelskis derby in 1995 and I hope to see a similar performance this week. I think back to some derbies I've been to. The Graham Poll derby, we were robbed, I was on the goal line and it went over in time. The Carsley derby, great great win. The one where Suarez dived in front of Moyes in a mickey-take (and where Gerrard ran the entire length of the pitch thinking they'd got the winner).

Something always makes me think we can nick it from them so let's hope so tomorrow, even if it's at our old ground. McCarthy is available again, however Coleman looks to be missing for the derby AND the semi final. Those two young lads did ok though, that was nice to see.

I'm gonna keep this one short as we don't really need to discuss the merits of the other side, but we need a shot in the arm and quick, whether the manager stays or not.

Come on lads, positivity - we can win this.

3-1 Everton.

Ehumm, no you cant!!

Not with players like Mori on the pitch!

Mate - I think we should give Jose £10m a year as a starting offer (somione slightly more).
A manager with a winning attitude and installing the basics of effort and desire into players is worth much much more than a single player.

Getting Jose increases our profile and our next shirt sponsorship, or whatever company wants to jump into bed on the Jose train, covers his wages alone. It's a no brainier.
We need to aim high now and get a top manager now we have a little backing.

I dislike that primadonna with a vengeance. We need someone with similar ability but a bit of class.

I thought he laughed a few times mate. Could be making it up in my head mind. I can't believe we as a club manage to one up ourselves every year in the annual "let's embarrass ourselves at anfield" game. Fuming.

I know mate. It's frustrating. Hopefully after this changes will be made that ensure this doesn't happen again.

We know that Everton p1sses its collective pants at the thought of Anfield and has done for years so we all knew we would lose which makes it easier to bear.....but even by the spineless and terrified standards of Everton managers and teams against them tonight was awful.

I love to have Diego Simeone. Atletico were terrified of Real.....not any more. He put backbone into them. Same job needed here. We are terrified of them.

On the 21st November we beat Villa 4-0 so including that game we have taken 22 points from a possible 66 an exact rate of winning one in three games. Over the course of a full season winning one in three gives you a points total of 39, therefore this season we would have currently been 16th. I cant imagine where we would be if it wasn't for the goals of Lukaku, more than likely next to Villa.

A couple of final things from me for this evening and that is Steven Naismith, he shouldn't have been let go at least he tried and gave maximum effort. Also Niasse well enough said, John Stones for me has played his last game in the Everton jersey and same would go for quite a few of the playing staff right now.

I agree wholeheartedly NOW is the time for RM to go semi final or not it makes no difference if anything I think it would lift the players a notch or two. Finally I will say it again if anyone is of the belief that Ross Barkley is even in the same stratosphere of class to a fit Paul Gascoigne then you never saw the proper Gazza play.

I wholeheartedly agree re Naismith. He was a 100%er, but some of the guys on here couldn't wait to get rid. The fact that Roberto let him go should in fact be another nail in his coffin. In retrospect, it was an abysmal decision, we really needed his fighting spirit today. Perhaps we can buy him back if Norwich get relegated.

Know what you mean mate, and I think that's why I hinted at simeone as I know Jose is not everyone's cup of tea.
But im sick and tired now of this. Sick and tired.
The RS singing bobbys name at the end was the final straw

I want a winner at our club now - not at all costs, but as close as - and Jose is a winner.
