Liverpool players visit kids in hospital

I get that and I don't have a problem with it.

I'm just stating my opinion that I wouldn't have fun with it. I admire anyone who takes time out of their schedule to go do community service projects like that.

To be fair i'm not really that impressed. It's little more than a PR stunt, they're all kitted out in the LFC jarg clothing and the cameras are there to take those perfect media photos. Heartfelt philanthropy this is not.

Now if Suarez or the others had shown up out of the blue at a hospital to spend time with the kids not on LFC time, it would be a different story.

(I would have similar opinions if it was Everton players, btw. It's not an anti Liverpool stance)

I'm at a loss at how to react to that photo... Is it OK to laugh like, because... well... you know, it's funny and stuff!?

I get that too.

It's just strange. I hope they had some banter with the kid though, no matter what kit they're wearing it probably would be cool to be surrounded by premier league footballers.

The look on the kids face though... It'd be exactly the look I'd have if I woke up and that was happening, but... I'm afraid of laughing because that might a medical condition causing that look to happen!

Bizarre photo...

Thought that too, but if it is a look of disgust, then it's up there with the kid doing this to Gerrard for me!

Looking at the young lad I would say hes handicapped, Hes not looking at the camera because he prob doesnt know whats going on around him, Hence him not smiling for the camera

Why would you do that?!

I have not a clue, but the backlash would find it's place in the hall of GOT popcorn fame, no doubt. I have already had **** you asshole posted on my timeline, I am having to explain myself in a way that is akin to Larry David in Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Maybe it's just me, but I think this is really sweet. Well done to all - especially the players for seeing the humour in the situation. x
