Really thought Gosling and Rodwell looked good when they came on too. Never paniced, Gosling ran at players, both looked calm and tidy on the ball.

Thought Castillo had some good spells but his passing let him down. Liked the way he beat a few of the [Poor language removed] with some fancy footwork - I'd honestly buy him on the cheap for experience cover personally.

The defence is walking with giants right now. Surely they have no reason to fear with anyone.

Especially Jags, although Baines was my MOM tonight.

We can win this replay and revenge our Villa defeat in the next round. Come on Boys!!

He'll have to do a lot better than today. First half he was poor second half warmed up but still lacked for me.

Really mate?

I know he is a youngster and that, but to be honest... he never found one pass. All he done was give the ball away? We had a promising attack and he completely messed it up, they broke and Kuyt missed that chance he should have scored.

Our shape went completely with his introduction. There was one incident were Reira had the ball on the edge of the box and Gerrard had a ridiculous amount of space on the edge of the box, just waiting for the ball to be slipped to him. Rodwell wasn't anywere..

To conclude. Rodwell was sh*te.

Must improve in my opinion.

Gosling done well though.

Lets face it these guys play as a team no prima donnas. Hibbo has done really well against them. i agree with Trebilcock Jags and Lescott are walking on water at the moment. Baines is coming along nicely.

Gosling needs more quality time. He should be a regular next year.

Its hard for him though. His last game was against Man City months ago and before that was the Carling Cup game against Blackburn. Stop starting, and getting 2 games in 4 months aint gonna make him gel with team.

I just like the way he's calm and clearly is technically sound, control, touch - all good.

As I said, Castillo done well in that he was an obstace. Kept his discipline and sat were he was supposed to stay. Given his situation, thats all we could realistically expect today

LOL. To be fair I do agree but I was seeing it more from the fact his control and composure on the ball was good for a player his age in a BIG game, in a derby, with minutes to go to keep on for the draw. He didnt [Poor language removed] it.
