Place Arteta on the right who was at least trying to move the ball about and play in a pass?

Thankfully Moyes picks the team and the tactics mate.

We turned up, and predictably got beat. It was more down to experienced players on the pitch that didn't stand up when needed more than down to Moyes today.

So you think the tactics today were spot on but the players just had a bad day? What were our tactics today? Before the sending off and after?

What about every other game away to the top 4 Moyes has never won?

Predictable got beat, whys that then?

I'll take that as check-mate then?

Eight times mate, blame the Americans.

Checkmate my arse. I have come up with some sound tactically alternatives for how Moyes could have enabled the cock windmill.

You've come up with the players didn't perform.

That's a given, but we can still look at what else could have been done.

Surely that level of discussion is allowed without being labelled a kneejerker - it's not like I am ripping sheets and getting the paint out is it?

Anichebe did well against Wigan last week and was one of the better players against Liverpool last season, he caused them all sorts of problems.

See where I put my blame apportion, for THIS game I never said he was blameless - just our key players who played [Poor language removed] were much more to blame you beast.

Thems the words of a defeated man them.

It's ok, I went easy on you.

Fair enough, but I don't rate him and thought we could have benefitted from the more recent tried and tested method of young Seamus.

The only 2 times Moyes has really given him a chance and he provided.

Not a bad record in my eyes mate. He seems confident enough and I reckon he would have given Insua a torrid time, more so than what Neville did or didn't do.

Maybe, Anichebe and Yakubu was the right option at the time if you were looking for goals, like what we were.

They won't like them facts mate, they just want to bash Moyes.

We are not out to bash him. We are discussing his flaws. It seems like only your critisism of Moyes is all valid and anyone else isn't. Like I say must we get your approval before we criticise?
Ghost made some sound alternative but you refuse to acknowledge because it's not in line with yours.

.

So what about all the other times we have failed to win away to a top 4 side?

Do you think any of the blame lies on Moyes for his tactics or lack of?

Or is it always players playing badly?

Yeah sure its not easy to get a win away to a top 4 side but seems like whenever we have a good chance to do so we never actually do.

Gotta look for a common denominator surely.

And this isn't kneejerk, i've questioned Moyes and his tactical ability for a while now, just don't think its good enough against the best teams and i think that today again points towards me being right. Or it could just be the players playing badly and his tactics are always spot on.

Well for a kick off he's not a right winger/midfielder - he's a striker, and an average one.

I don't rate him and never will. Think he has a massive chip on his shoulder and he thinks he's god. He never looks up when he should do. He has poor control and a bad attitude.

That's my honest opinion of him, and last time I checked we were allowed to voice opinion, whether or not people agree with them or not. It's not like it's a personal attack on the lad - I just don't rate him as a Premier League player and think we have better options.

I have to agree with Ghost here in much of what he said. Anichebe is no right winger, does have a boulder on his shoulders and is Championship quality at best. On the flip side however, i feel he does'nt deserve criticism in today's defeat, that is simply unjust.

Maybe, Anichebe and Yakubu was the right option at the time if you were looking for goals, like what we were.

Anyone could see we couldnt create chances. Taking off a fit Saha for a un-fit Anichebe (who's played a fill 15 minutes all together) wasnt the way about it.

I think Bily should've been put on. We need a kick in the arse, a spark. Arteta, Pienaar, Bily, are our supposidly creative players...if they were on the field something would've come out of it.

He could've put Heitinga at DM, Arteta further up field, Saha and Yak on. Bily for Osman.....Moyes has options.

Nothing happened against 10 men. 2 shots on target.

Disgraceful.
