We may look back on this game years from now with the greatest of affection. The watershed moment when we stuffed Liverpool at Anfield and showed them and everyone else that we would be the ones to take their place in the top four. A blow which Liverpool never quite recovered from, and which Everton never looked back on.

I believe we have them on the ropes even before kick off tomorrow, I just hope the lads have one of their good days. They've tended to pull it off against the big teams of late (Chelsea, Arsenal, City) but eff it up against the likes of Birmingham and Sunderland. The Arsenal game gives me hope, a superior team to Liverpool (leaving out the "they just lost their last game so they're clearly [Poor language removed]" hype) and we were all over them at the Emirates.

A performance reminiscent of those against Arsenal and City will do me, 2-0 to us in that case.

Oh for sure. You can tell Benitez is feeling the pressure though today, he didn't look as arrogant as usual.

On paper you'd think we'd do them over but you just know what's coming.

Depends on how Moyes approaches it, if we field and offensive side and go for them we stand to get something from it. If we do the usual and stay in our shell a bit then it's not pleasant.

Ten years is a long time not to win at their place and hence why I'm not riding the train of optimism. Their back four do look suspect but then so does ours at the moment.

I'm terrified. Will be watching in a pub which, judging by the home fixture this season, WILL be full of rs (we're in Norwich ffs!!!) aaaaaargh I hate derby day!

Can't even remember the score when we last beat them at Anfield. Was it when Kevin Campbell scored and Gerrard got sent off?
