Should I be this confident?

I really feel like we're going to win this one. If we'd beaten Brummy in the cup I'd be even more confident, but still...I just feel like we could beat these guys.

We owe these [Poor language removed] one big time - Please god let it be tomorrow.

The only thing I am 100% certain of is that it will be the FSW last derby - unless we meet them in the Europa league that is.

I really wish this wasn't the case, but unfortunately it is. People are seeing tomorrow as the most important game of the season. To beat Liverpool is almost like us winning a trophy.

Personally I would swap a win tomorrow for a win over Lisbon.

Highly unlikely that tomorrow will determine where we finish in the league, those games are reserved for when we play the likes of Fulham and Pompey.

During the Carling Semi fiasco, there was massive talk that City were more interested in beating Utd then they were winning the whole trophy. Like that was the most important factor. For me that was just jealousy, envy whatever you want to call it.

I actually believe that Everton football club are run better than Liverpool, have miles more potential, and have better players pound for pound.

If we lose tomorrow, it would be because of factors beyond the skill levels of both teams. The occasion will dictate the outcome, and who wants it most.

I thought we could have taken Chelsea at Wembley, but we froze and give the game away. Same as we did at GP this year against Liverpool. We need to have confidence in our own abilities, and just rip into them, just as we should do against Fulham or Pompey.

It's just another 3 points up for grabs.

Although come tomorrow my emotion will takeover and it will be all about beating the [Poor language removed]. But that's an automated response to the situation.

COYB.

I think we should be looking to win these games as well as the eropean games.

The balance is there, players are back fit who can at least play 45 minutes from the bench, a quality bench.

It's been a horrid year. Winning this would give optimisim that baring the injuries we'd be competing. They're very below par by their standards and we should impose ourselves.

I'm not expecting anything tomorrow, it's not going to be easy, but there's not a better chance to get a result than now. If we can't, it's gonna be a while before we witness another league win away from home against them

For me a win against Liverpool is as important as the win last week. It's not our cup final, it's just another 3 points.

Having played in a couple of derbies (though only at the college level) it matters to the players.

I'm not saying it doesn't matter but it's about winning the game. Man U play Man City to win the game, not to get one over on Man City.

I watched us beat City all over and then capitulate against Brum the week later (with the same side). We should win tomorrow, not because the players are up for it, or that it matters to them - it should always matter to them, regardless of who they play, but we should win because we have the better team, better players, and a better manager.

It means as much as it does to them lot. Only the losing teams fans say "it's their cup final" instead of taking it on the chin.

Away from that I think beating these is as much as beating any top 4 champions league team like Chelsea or united....it shows what stage the team is at if it's able to compete. Gettin 3 points against Wigan is something the team should be able to do, we're above their skill level. To take on one of the "best" sides in Europe and win means more than the derby itself

But Liverpool are not one of the best sides in Europe.

But Liverpool are not one of the best sides in Europe.

Hence the commas... They may not be this season but the majority of critics and pundits will say they're one of the bests sides in Europe as their champs league record says it. There's a reason why were always the underdogs and not on the same level
