Comfortably? We won 2-1 and it was nervy at the end. What game did you watch?

oh behave, the scoreline was close but it was hardly a close game in general, we had all the ball and vast majority of the shots etc

they brought on a couple of 10foot lads at the end and pumped the ball into the box, hardly had us on the ropes

absolutely shouldn't be worried by a league one team in the slightest, if we turn up like we should do with any game it shouldn't even be a contest

Grand old team- We have to win the league cup to get a trophy on board.

Also grand old team- oh no, we might struggle against a team 2 divisions below us in our first cup game!
We have to make this priority, so point one is right.

Point two, well we might if we go in with a week team, for me play the best team we have, after 2 games so far in the league this seaosn we dont look a full on setttled side apart from at the back. Its another game to help them gel

I'd be inclined to start as 'full strength' as possible. Get the game won. Too much tinkering in games like these has cost us in the past and christ knows what it'd do to our confidence if we lost. Delph might actually be a good shout for this provided he's fit again.

We never take this tournament seriously.

I doubt we will this season either.
Until the club is consistently challenging at the top of the league I cannot see this being prioritised.

I am desperate to see Everton win a trophy, but I think the club will still prioritise the highest league spot obtainable.

If we have another Millwall game I genuinely don’t know how the club could have the balls to still operate as a footballing entity. Play to win it.

As an Evertonian living in Lincoln, I'm a little worried about the upcoming match. Lincoln have a great little thing going at the moment. 4 matches, 4 wins. Hopefully we don't take it too lightly. A good cup run, winning breeds confidence and all that.
Have their fans always come across as total simpletons ? A few on banter pages on FB and they go on like they’re a sleeping giant not a club that averaged 2/4k for the best part of its history in the lower reaches

If we sack Ross I’d want their manager
