The lad hasnt even had a sniff in the first team, he clearly wanted a move to kick on, good luck to him.

If he turns out good we can just buy him back, its only money.
Yes all our money I'd going to the new ground had you really heard of Tosan,we are now entering a stage of breaking up the title winning youth team for greats like Sandro, and Klassen who are way off the pace!

Haven't seen a player whatsoever. Not sure why you can't grasp my point; put down the sudoku and read my post again.
OK Nymz.

I just don't see why you're being so arsy over it though. Not just with me but with 2 or 3 others now too. Especially given that you actually like the lad and don't want him to leave yourself. Really all we've been saying is that we would have liked him to at least have been given an opportunity with the first team, before deciding to offload him.

Anyway, Bristol City look like their building something there, so it may turn out to be a good deal for the lad. He may even be playing against us in the prem next season. :)

Let's hope we're putting in some sort of buy back/sell on clause with some of these better kids seeing as we're letting them go for buttons.

Hes 20 years old, failed at Birmingham, hasnt had a sniff of the first team for the last 3 years, so yeah, im not gonna be losing any sleep for punting a midget.

Can't help but think that the four players who've left so far - Walsh, Miralles, Gethin Jones and the guy who went to Chelsea, all told Allardyce that they wanted to go - he was interviewing them all wasn't he?
Certainly Miralles wanted to go back to Greece, Jones had no 1st team future here, and Walsh had fallen behind some of his peers in the pecking order, through no fault of his own (injuries, loan at the wrong time).

In his interview on the BCFC website he says he wanted to join them as soon as he heard they were interested because there were so many players ahead of him.
Sad to see him go - along with JJK he was my favourite from the 'golden generation'.

Can he play for Bristol City v Man City or did he play for Birmingham in League Cup?

Didnt play for anybody in any cup as far as I know.

Injured at Birmingham the rest is your usual drivel!

Not the reason he was punted sadly Joey.

Bristol City have secured their first signing of the January window after landing Everton youngster Liam Walsh on an undisclosed fee.

The 20-year-old creative midfielder has penned a two-and-a-half year contract at Ashton Gate.

Walsh is highly-rated in the Toffees camp but he has been unable to make the breakthrough to the first-team. He spent time on loan with Yeovil Town while was in the Championship with Birmingham City earlier this season.

However, that loan was cut short after he failed to impress.

In the squad for tonight's game - probably on the bench. Short of match practice so will have his work cut out to get straight into a team pushing for promotion. They might play him tonight for that reason but probably not a bad place to sit on the bench.

Yes at a priemium !

We're flush now mate lol

I watched the documentary "No Hunger In Paradise" online last night and it was fascinating. One of the quotes that struck me was Les Reed at S'oton saying "It's not a matter of how much the big clubs can spend on players, but how much they can waste".
