Only went when we were winning then hey - I love our history seen two championship teams before the 1980's and by the way my older brother stated don't try to teach your gran to suck eggslol

My Nan supported the vermin Joey.

And my Great Grandad lived a few doors down from Dixie Dean, played footy with him in school Joey.

Bed now, ive read your bedtime story.

No thanks you have a red lot in your geneslol
Just reading a great book 100 years of EVerton 1959 FACup replay at home v Charlton 75,000 in fog that dropped injuries to the crowd the Glawdys st never seen the 4-1 win read it to my older brother he was 12 my late father was there!
We signed Bobbby Collins just after that game wished I could have seen him play, then I seen the rest from 1963 onwards;)
I see Walsh got on off the bench tonight;)

Just on my way back from the game tonight. Came on with around 20minutes left, and I cannot wait to see him play again! Looks such a tidy player! Confident gets around the pitch and looks a great passer of the ball, and that was with him thrown in at the deep
End. High hopes for this lad already.

For anyone who hasn't seen much of Liam there is a video on youtube. It's our development squad (actually a makeshift one as it was played during the International break and the majority of our team were missing) against Bolton senior team in the Checkatrade trophy last season. Liam would have been 19 at the time and Bolton were top of L1.

The video focus's on Liam's contribution, and is fully 17 minutes long (with zero replays) so shows just how much he was involved. I haven't seen it before but it sums the player up perfectly.

Don't ask me to post it as I'm crap at things like that but if you google Liam Walsh EFC v Bolton you'll find it easily enough.

Been on Bristol City forum, they are all raving about his 30min cameo. One lad posted the question, did he give the away?

I’ve been a big fan since I watched him at 16 in pre-season friendly for the under 21’s. And said on loads of occasions, imo he was the best young midfielder of the bunch coming through.

Gutted he’s gone, but good luck to him and I have no doubt he will be a regular in the premier league.

Very promising cameo from Liam last night - can we activate out buy-back clause yet? If we bothered to put one in that is.

His first touch in a BC shirt would have had Pep rubbing his eyes thinking it was Messi: 1st time delicate chip forward over an opponent and straight into the path of a teammate. Would love to see Messrs. Gana, scneiderlin, McCarthy, and Davies do that just once, let alone with their first touch of the ball.
