Can't help but think that the four players who've left so far - Walsh, Miralles, Gethin Jones and the guy who went to Chelsea, all told Allardyce that they wanted to go - he was interviewing them all wasn't he?
Certainly Miralles wanted to go back to Greece, Jones had no 1st team future here, and Walsh had fallen behind some of his peers in the pecking order, through no fault of his own (injuries, loan at the wrong time).

In his interview on the BCFC website he says he wanted to join them as soon as he heard they were interested because there were so many players ahead of him.
Sad to see him go - along with JJK he was my favourite from the 'golden generation'.
Unfortunately the players who are ahead of him: Schneiderlin, McCarthy, Besic, Klaasen have all failed to show that they are up to the required standard. In addition Davies and Banigime haven’t looked as good as Walsh from what I’ve seen. Anyway good luck to the lad if he’s as good as a few of us think then we’ll know it over the next couple of years. Won’t be much consolation though.

Didnt play for anybody in any cup as far as I know.

Not the reason he was punted sadly Joey.

Bristol City have secured their first signing of the January window after landing Everton youngster Liam Walsh on an undisclosed fee.

The 20-year-old creative midfielder has penned a two-and-a-half year contract at Ashton Gate.

Walsh is highly-rated in the Toffees camp but he has been unable to make the breakthrough to the first-team. He spent time on loan with Yeovil Town while was in the Championship with Birmingham City earlier this season.

However, that loan was cut short after he failed to impress.

Copy and pasting an article is not the answer have you seen him play?

No Joey, I thought giving an impartial view would be best rather than listening to your brother.
I watched him too on streams after he was pointed out to me - by the way the great Bobby Collins 5 ft 3 inches size 4 boots - went to Leeds and under Revie revolutionised them promoted first season with him playing PFA player of the season in the old Division one - the pocket dynamo- if you know your history!
