Seems as though reports are now indicating that he is going to Chelsea. Let's back Beto and bring someone else in as competition. Beto did the job for us last season and has poured his heart and soul into succeeding for the club. Delap can go and sit on the bench at Chelsea if that is what he wants.

Wasn't too comfortable with the idea of Delap being guaranteed 1st choice over Beto anyway.
He's had a good season but Beto has had a good 2nd half of the season too

Chelsea are crying out for a good striker. I don’t know if Delap is it but they have the strongest pull out of any team interested.

He obviously backs himself to do well at a team in the champions league.
I don’t see what the fuss is about and if we had a decent scouting network across Europe, we would pick up a bargain with similar/better profile to Delap.
