When you have Neville and Osman in CM while Gibson is out, we really should go for Holtby in January. His contract is up in June 2013.

Lewis Holtby, the midfielder who is linked with Everton every transfer window, has again reiterated his desire to one day play in England and says Everton are close to his heart.
The highly rated 22 year old is due to face Arsenal in the Champions League for Schalke this week, and he admits he admires the Gunners too.
Holtby’s contract at the Bundesliga giants is set to run out at the end of this season and he could leave on a free transfer next summer. When asked about his future he said:
“We will see when it happens. Everton are close to my heart and I always loved watching *Arsenal because of their style of play and some of the players they’ve hadâ€
