I would have also accepted dr3(AD)L0x.
Pay more attention next time please mate.
It's the dread locks.
Lots of stats floating about on toffeeweb and whilst it is nice to see we should not be getting carried away with the fact it is week 5 of 38 and although undefeated (and that does sound nice) we are 6th and one defeat is a big drop, as is one win for a team below us.
Don't want to sound like a defeatist, but it is the first stage of what will be a long hard season and hope we are there or thereabouts with a new manager etc and if this is the future then am very happy so far, but at the end of the day this is Everton and she has a habit of letting you down (then I put my bullet proof vest and helmet on and await the onslaught).
last year at this stage we were on 13 points. We had a great start last year but then those draws kicked in, draw after effing draw. Took us to 10 games after that opening 6 to double the 13 points(7 draws in that period...did my head in!)
Best start in terms of remaining unbeaten:
86/87 3 draws 3 wins
13/14 3 draws 3 wins
I am enjoying this.... and my memory is very long!!
Quick question btw when Gibbo is fully fit, and starts with Shay and James, when was the last time three ROI players started for Everton?
I remember seeing Seamus McDonagh and Eamon O'Keeffe in the same team ... not sure if Sheeds ever played with the two of them.
If not, I think it could go back to the 50s with Donovan, Eglinton, O'Neill Farrell
