Sell Lescott, get Taylor, Hutton, Bentley and Benega...id do that. Hope he's off...
I'd love that - all young players who for different reasons need to prove that they can still hack it.
Taylor - to prove that he is a PL defender, off-shot chance of England
Hutton - that going south was not a bad move and that he is PL quality
Bentley - that he is the heir to Beckham on the England RM
Banega - that he is everything that his rep says and to stay in the Argentine team

All players who should be hungry to prove lots of people wrong, Moyes' kind of people.

it would surprise me if it is true, I think the speculation is upsetting the squad, but what are our options against Sigma if we dont play Lescott?

Neville at CB and Rodwell as DM?

Or will Seamus Coleman get a start?

Wouldn't surprise me if it is true. I admire Moyes' stance on this, but he'll lose out in the end I'm afraid. Lescott is undermining the team morale at the moment and we simply can't allow for that to happen. Get that Taylor and Senderos in an [Poor language removed] him off to City.(n)

Can we read anything into this? Maybe he's been sulking and Moyes dont want that near the rest of the players. Any thoughts ?

yep he is on a sulk and i think his agent has a lot to answer for.

its obvious to me that info is being fed from city to his agent who in turn has fed this on to lescott and advised him to ask for a move , put in a transfer request , refuse to play (which lescott half heartedly tried to do against arsenal -bottler).

i think 40000 +everton fans sould bring into motion - operation destroy lescott's agent.

as for lescott , if he thinks his current wages are not enough to live on then he is clearly greedy scum.
if he thinks the grass is greener elsewhere then he is clearly deluded.

I totally agree, we can't afford to keep Lescott - I'd love to out him in the reserves and let him see his WC dreams go, but we need all the money we can get out of him. (but we don't want Richard Dunne)

I hope City make a Newcastle and get themselves relegated - I'd be laughing for a month straight.

Lescott played his last game for Everton against Arsenal on Saturday, well that is what i thought after that game. I will be very surprised if he is involved tomorrow against Sigma.

I think your right mate but if he dont play who else can take his place? Shitty wont want him cup tied either and that could have something to do with it.

We'll get battered if he doesnt play IMO.

4-0 to us tomorrow night, you just watch us go. Then we will follow that up with a 2-0 win at Burnley on Sunday.

Good question mate. All i can think although it is ideal, is we play Rodwell there as a stop-gap. I know he has played at centre back during pre-season and by all accounts looked out of place, but it is either him or Phil Neville and i certainly dont want that. It is highly unlikely being Everton, but maybe and it is a big maybe, we may just have Steven Taylor or Robert Huth too choose from tomorrow.
