I see Moyes mentioned Osman has been carrying a knock & so has hardly trained all season until this international break. seems to me a lot of blues won't realise how lucky we are to have him until after he's gone.

Agree with you there mate. Not the greatest but puts in a excellent shift and what Joe Cole said about in his U-21 days he was the best player on the pitch. He looked class yesterday the layoff helped him and Fellaini the most.(y)

Always liked him. Tidy footballer, can bag around half a dozen a season and always puts in a shift.

Moyes has said that he hasn't trained every day for a while, and had 2 weeks of hard training and reaped the rewards yesterday.

I'd personally like to replace him and make him more of a squad player as putting it blunt, he's not good enough to be in the 1st eleven of a team that is trying to get into the top 4 but he does a brilliant job.

Think everyone knows that Leon Osman is probably the first player to replaced in our starting midfield. Don't agree with all the crap that's been said or witten about him though. Nice and tidy player who still can be very useful for us in the future. Definately a position were we can improve on, but rate him enormously as a squad player. To be succesful and have any chance of challenging the Sky Four, you also need a strong bench. Definately a place for Osman on there.

osman is a great player and equally importantly, a true-blue

i couldn't believe some of the comments about him earlier on in the thread, how difficult is it for football fans to understand the concept of FORM????

for instance, the beginning of last season when he was our lead goal scorer for some time, he was in form, and many other players were out of form. noone ****ged off ossie.

this season, he's been carrying injuries, and is out of form. that doesn't erase what he did for us last two seasons

the same goes with pienaar, i remember earlier on in the season people were saying that he was what we were lacking, that we needed his creativity. to expect all of our players to all play at their best all the time is a bit unreasonable, it doesn't mean these are bad players though
