Had a problem for a few years, maybe thats why hes not quite been his usual stellar self for a few seasons.

Hopefully hes back to old self when he comes back
I thought he was ace last season.

Still one of the better fullbacks in the league this season despite not being at his best.

Only one way to settle this, lets strip off, oil up and fight
Let's do this.

The wickedly outswinging corner which John Stones headed into the Manchester United net was the 13th goal Baines has directly created this season.

That’s more than twice his nearest rivals on the Blues assists charts – Romelu Lukaku, Aiden McGeady and Steven Naismith – and include only four from set-pieces.

Baines has enjoyed an increasingly influential campaign – despite performing for its entirety with an increasing level of pain.

He's a great player and just needs a good full summer off, and at least we have Garbutt to take the amount of games off him next season.

Fair play to him. He's had an assist haul you'd be chuffed to see your playmaker (if you have one...) or wingers get -- one of the highest totals in the league -- all from left back. Outstanding, if the injury has been so influential.

@WhoScored: Leighton Baines: Everton have averaged 1.42 goals per PL game with Baines starting this season compared to just 0.40 goals without him #efc

Have we played many games where he hasn't started, though? Might skew those results really.
