Oh maybe because he hasn't signed a new contract (which was talked about in aug/sept), hasn't mentioned ANYTHING to the press about wanting to stay at Everton and plays like he's miserable and wants out. That sort of thing. It really annoys me that we seem to be pandering to him.

So according the Mirror (via Martinez), Baines wants to stay at Everton. Then why not come out and say it the fans? We've heard nothing from him since we assumed he's decided to stay in the summer... although we now know he asked for a move but the club turned it down.
