Its a pity other fans and media outlets wont accept he is the best in the league/world until he plays for someone like United or City.

Baines turned United down, not the other way around.

And Baines doesn't have a 'worst' part of his game, his defending his as good as any other LB in the league.

And Coentrao ? LOL. Seeing as Mourinho himself plays Marcelo over him the majority of the time, he can't be that incredible.

And I can't believe anyone saying he wouldnt make it in the PL hibbert an Neville are first team starters for us which just goes to show the level you have to be at to play in this league also your probibly the same people who said jelavic wouldn't make it.

Coentrao is always first choice at Madrid and isnt always a left back anyway. Baines is definitely better.

Carroll cost £35m but United wouldn't even pay £6m for Jelavic.

Baines is very very good dont get me wrong but its really the sum of the parts thats impressive down the left. He and Pienaar just seem to click in a mental way. He must rank as one of Moyes best buys, but without Pienaar he looks like a decent LB. His crossing, pasing, shooting and dead ball's are all of the highest quality, and clearly he can save it off the line too.
