Leicester Sack Puel

One season is too early to judge yet BFS got 6/7 months? Before he was hounded out by all our supporters. I find that a bit hypocritical.

Foreign managers with the perceived sexy names get longer, FACT! MS has performed worse than BFS despite having MORE money and a much stronger team, his teams follow the exact same pattern (See Hull and Watford) and he does not have the ability to turn that around. Sticking with MS next season is a gamble and potentially another season lost.

IF in any doubt he needs to go. 14th-16th is not good enough and I believe the board think that isnt good enough. We cant make the decision nor can anything we type anything on here make the board pull the trigger. We have to hope to god they get it right, Im not convinced but that is my opinion although a few seem offended that I can point out Silvas failings and have the stats to prove them!

TBH 62% want rid, that is the general consensus in the fan base.....
I thought BFS should be given a chance once we got him. However he kept to type and there was nothing to indicate any better. Under Silva we have seen better. Not enough for us of course, but sufficient to think he can progress and get better. BFS was as good as he will ever be sadly.

There is a fixation with stats these days and they mean very little in many ways. A player can lay 5 goals on a plate during a match and a bad striker can score none. They were good enough 'assists' but none count. You get far more from watching a game. I doubt if Steve Pienaar set the world alight with his assists and all that, but we have never had a player that good and bringing others into the game for years.

Anyway, we all hope they have got it right with Brands and Silva, we shall see......

Don't care about any other club. Too early to judge our DOF and Manager.

Puel was there 18 months, not 6 so he had a bit more time to implemejmnt his style.

I thought they looked alrite under
him tbf

Me too, just lacked a finishing touch but he didnt seem too keen on Vardy. Suppose its like other fans judging us, you dont quite get the full picture.

Apparently Brenda has agreed to become their manager. As if the league isn’t bad enough already we now have to listen to him spouting absolute nonsense and the media trying to make out he’s some big name manager.

Actually think these two are a really good fit.

Bet he’s there a while.

I'd agree - they're certainly a good match.

Will be interesting to see what style of football he implements at LCFC as Puel's efforts to move them from a direct style to a more possession based system failed. I do think that they have a core of good players to be able to do this to an extent but IMO they'll need to sign a new forward as Vardy is suited for the direct football that won them the PL.

Backwards decision for me.

From both camps.

Rodgers potentially going into Celtic folk law, by being the first ever Treble Treble winner in Scotland, desperate to win the 10 in a row, and finally about to have an actually title challenge of Rangers it seems.

For Leicester, I just don't think he's a great manager. But we'll see. I mean, I'm not calling Silva a good manager either btw

I don't know how to feel about this. He does seem a good manager in fairness and it's a relief we ain't going down the Pardew/Allardyce route. He does seem a bit of a tit though. David Brent of the footballing world

Just hope he continues to utilize the quality youngsters we have

100% believes his own hype.
