Forgot about AEK. Got them mixed up with AIK from Stockholm.

Turns out Panionios is a real club and I wasn’t dreaming though. Thought I’d heard of them before

I laughed that off , then started it’s actually harder than I first thought . Once you break the back of it there are a few but genuinely tougher than I thought it’d be .

In comparison, I could easily name 20 Scottish teams, if not more

But that’s ridiculous. It’s like asking a Cypriot person to name 5 Scottish clubs but they’d know all the Greek teams.

We’re more accustomed to the Scottish teams as we hear about them all the time. I could name nearly all the pro Scottish teams i reckon.

But I’m fairly sure Giannina would beat Stenhousmuir.

For what is worth I managed 7 Greek teams in my head.

If you know enough about the Greek League to state with such authority that it's better than another League, then yeah, you should be able to name the teams that play in it, otherwise it's clear you know nothing about it. How can you truly know the quality of a League if you don't even know who plays in it?

And when it comes to Europe, a Greek side has never won a club trophy, whilst Scottish teams have, and in recent years there hasn't been much difference between the Scottish and Greek sides in Europe. Hardly proof that the Greek League is miles ahead of the Scottish one

Anyway, Ijjy has himself admitted that he wasn't being sincere with his original comment, so we can move on
