Funny thing with Rodgers is that celtic are either making him to be a legend who ranks alongside the best or a traitor for their best manager leaving them for Leicester.
They had no rival Ffs. Rodgers had no rival and they buy everyone else's best players to keep themselves the best.
Be harder not to win everything
This is how I see it.
Undoubtedly, Rodgers has used his reputation to bring a better quality of player in, and he’s probably too good for the SPL, but for me, that doesn’t make him a good manager, it means he done his job.
For me, the first sniff of pressure and he’s “nobly stepped aside”, as he seeks a “fresh challenge”... nonsense.
He’ll go down as Celtic’s most prolific manager with a 100% trophy success rate, and whether they hate him or not, they’ll never take that off him.
Very few manager in the last 10-15 years have successfully transitioned from SPL to English football. Lennon, McInnes, Neilson , Levein all spring to mind tbh.
