Look at the teams there

Leeds - barely stayed up in 22, went on a 9 game winless run to go down last season

Leicester - missed the golden chance to stay up by missing a pen against us to put them 3-1 up then didn’t turn up at Newcastle until stoppage time in the penultimate game

Burnley - weren’t good enough to stay up in 22, despite beating us in the run in, haven’t been good enough so far this season

Southampton - 3 managers and were long gone before the season ended, no leg to stand on

As someone who held a season ticket at St Marys for decades and is in regular contact with fans and family,in Soton there is absolutely no intention or wish to become involved in any legal rubbish. Saints went down 'cos they were carp.

However there is no sympathy whatever about our position and penalty, we cheated and not with any sophistication or intelligence.

Those clubs who may consider legal action are those who think if they had an extra 60million or so to spend by similar book fiddling they'd not be relegated.

As Everton aren't denying they 'F'd up, the amount of points deducted from us is a bit irrelevant from other clubs perspective. I reckon this element could be more harmful than the 10 points....and they are harmful enough.
