Leave Bill Alone...

So now it is all Davey's fault then hey?

He could be a contributing factor. Nobody really knows at this time. The thing is, Moyes enjoys much more support than Kenwright. Therefore, Kenwright tends to be the whipping boy when things don't pan out. But it could be either or both of them, or something else completely.

People call Bill for not giving Moyes money but yet we broke our transfer record 3 years on the run.
Bill has always said that money is available for Moyes! and Moyes has said he does have money to spend!
Maybe Bill and co are working their arses off to sign players but clubs don't want to sell. Look at the Barry fiasco! Villa don't want to let Barry go so are mucking about with the deal. Maybe that's what Sporting are doing with Moutinho?
Kenwright is a true blue. I've met him a few times and he is a genuine good guy. I don't think he would just sit back and deny his beloved club the chance of not building on what he and Moyes have built so far.

Bill Kenwright is a massive blue fan, nobody doubts that. But, err Hello, he is the main shareholder, the man at the top.....THE BOSS and the buck stops with him does it not ? He must have sanctioned quotes like " Deal Of the Century " State of the Art Stadium " Virtually Free " which came from his CEO or did he have no knowledge of stuff like this ? Borrowing money for transfers via Earle via Philip Green, whats that all about ??? Selling off club assets and borrowing money against future season ticket sales and future TV revenue, is this real investment ? sanctioning a move away from Goodison to an out of town shopping mall. The club being in more debt than any other time in its history.........True Blue or not, he is the boss and though he cant be blamed for everything, imo, he has not been very successful in business terms for EFC, though I, like us all, give him every credit for seeing the potential of David Moyes and sticking by him when things were not so good. In football terms he has been an ok defender, but if he was a striker he would have been offered to Fulham by now.

Why dont people stop worrying? We'll se what happens by 3:00pm on the 16th who's in or who's not.

IF there's nobody signed, we know somethings wrong. If we have then it just take time.

Other teams around us havent brought anyone substantial in -- Villa, Pompy, West Ham, Blackburn, City, United. Yes they have bigger squads and dont have gaping holes we have, but if they're taking their time we're doing the same.

Wow you must have been reading my mind.

The book stops with bill!!

Kenwright will never sell up. He makes impossible demands of buyers: they must be Evertonians, billionaires and 'suitable' and have 'integrity'.

He's a liar when he says he's open to offers.

I think Bill loves the club so much that he has held on too long, which has been to the club's detriment.

No your wrong. We can't attract investment while we are at Goodison Park. Look at all the other investors in the Premiership? They all have stadiums fit to hold events, and basically generate money. We don't. Hence we don't get interest. Hence why the club was/are pushing for Kirkby to happen. Because relatively speaking even though the costs are up to £100m. Its not that much.

We get a new stadium, we get investment. Its as simple as that.

Nick lets get real, Bill claims there is money for transfers maybe hes put it with the Fortress fund .Name one club who have changed their CEO as often as Bill? Yes he is a blue but he is also a liar, which I dont need to source because its been done so often its boring, the reason he wants to move to Kirkby is desparation to keep hold of the club.I had friends at that London meeting and Bill was a disgrace to state dont ask me Im only the chairman to a reasonble question or Im only a supporter like you to another ,it shows hes losing it,now that( if he has)stated his intent to sell he is liable to get the deal for Kirkby called in because of a fraudulent statement that he had no intention of cashing in on the move.To be fair to Bill he took control of the club at a difficult time and saved us from Johnson but I think time has shown he is sadly out of his depth and according to Birch(another ex ceo) his love of the club blinds him to the realities I take no pleasure in critising Bill I can even understand why he lies but it is still not right a lot of us spend a great deal of our hard earned money on supporting this club I know you do as well. we deserve honesty if nothing else,on another note Nick you mention other stadiums holding events if you check with Kirkby council I think you will find there are a great number of limitations on the use of the stadium to protect the locals from being disturbed if we go to Kirkby it will be impossable to make the sort of money Keith claimed check for self cheers Roy

I don't think he is a liar. I think certain elements of Wyness's chat was fabricated. I just think Bill is an Everton fan who is desperately trying to appease the fans. They are actually looking for a CEO who understands the emotion of being an Evertonian, and not one who is purely making decisions based on finances, basically not looking at what reaction the fans will have. Birch found that out early on, and Wyness has too. The marketing team are also disconnected from Everton, as Wyness outsourced it all.

We say that Bill is a liar, and bad for this club, well its his contacts that has bankrolled our rise from relegation fodder to 5th in the league, so perhaps a little gratitude is required on that score.

Nick IF you cant accept hes lied explain how he stood up at the meeting and claimed he didn't know the answer because he is only the chairman is he that incompetent if so sorry but he has to go,his mates may have bank rolled some of the deals but selling everything that was not nailed down also contributed to it,the reason for so many CEos is because Bill can not face the reality that they present to him.Birch in particular advised selling Rooney which Bill declined at the time. I think its sad that owning Everton while being his proudest achievement has also cost him dearly not in the financial way as he will recoup more than he spent when he sells but in his relationships not the fans he can dismiss us as ungrateful bastards or such but his friendships with the likes of Gregg and a few others I just hope he sells soon even if he manages to raise the cash for new players its putting us further in debt and making the same scenario for the next window.Nick im not being vindictive as I say I was chuffed when he took over but like Lee at city you can be to much a fan in such a high office.

Well I just don't see one side of the story mate.
I dont understand what you man Nick if you mean you trust Bill fair enough you are entitled to your opinion as I am mine .I hope other people can read this exchange of views and see that you really dont have to be hostile in debating(y)

Sorry mate, didn't realise I was being hostile?

I have just heard information that leads me to believe the chairman is not at fault for the lack of transfer activity.
