Why the bitterness and hatred? I'm not a big Perth fan but he did a great job last season in the wake of Kenny's departure. Coming up short of a treble by losing on pens...you've gotta tip your hat to that.

And as for Cork, it doesn't matter if you fold (again), you'll return in another format eventually. Is there a name you haven't used yet? Cork Rovers perhaps? Enjoy the battle for the drop with Finn Harps mate. Fenn deserves it.
Accuses me of bitterness and hatred and then goes on to reference the usual Dundalk nonsense about Cork clubs and throws in Fenns retirement for good measure.

Enjoyable second half at the cross following some of the most farcical referring ever seen anywhere at the end of the first half. Doyle gave Harps a goal and then disallowed it 5 mins later, city keeper Bossin was down for 10 mins and taken straight to hospital. We showed second half that we may just have something to work with but we are desperately in need of a striker

Cracking game in torrential rain. You could show that anywhere in the world ad an advert for the game of soccer never mind the League of Ireland!

I was wondering what was going on at the game, livescore had Harps ahead for a fair while, they then had ye 2-0 up at one point in the second, important points for ye them.

7522 official attendance at Tallaght. New record and it was on live on RTE2.

The League and the FAI sem to be turning a corner.

Daire O Conner got a second which was disallowed for offside but live score as you say had us two up for awhile.
Ya important points indeed, we were awful again first half but conditions were awful, second half we were well on top, for the first time in a long time Gearoid Morrissey actually took over a game and we went from there. Dalling had three shots from outside the box, one hit the post, one just cleared the cross bar and one beat the keeper and got stuck in the mud before it crossed the line.

And the previous goal wasn't bad either. LOI providing weekly contenders for goal of the season.

They're going to have to make difficult decisions regarding the league, and quite swiftly too.

Playing games behind closed doors, like other leagues have, simply won't be sustainable for clubs here.

No fans means no gate receipts. Sligo struggled last season alone when they went without a home game for weeks due to a couple of postponements.

Back in 2001 when there was a foot & mouth outbreak, a number of games were played behind closed doors. Part time players gave up wages. But there are alot more full time professionals now, and some on big money. Even a month of suspension/closed doors will cause havoc.

Sadly I believe it is inevitable but then maybe the season will be suspended for a month or more and finish later. That is provided this thing somehow stabilizes and a vaccine is found.

This is a massive threat to everybody on the planet .

All games off until at least the 29th, as discussed here, better than the behind closed doors option.

Was looking forward to going to the cross tomorrow, hopefully this all gets sorted soon.

Only getting around to watching " The Boys in Green" documentary. Brillant watch, brought some great memories of the Jack Charlton era.
