Last Film You Watched

Watched this last night. A true story of how Yossi Ghinsberg thought it would be a good idea to trek into the Bolivian jungle with a bunch of other amateurs. Very good and I don't normally like Radcliffe but he was good in this.

Been pondering whether to watch this,Radcliffe at least seems to be taking a variety of roles,I liked him in Swiss army man though not many people liked the film

Watched two last week, both will probably end up in my films of the year. Twas a good week.

Baby Driver - excellent take on the American car chase/heist genre. Pretty much a heist movie set to music and perfectly choreographed. Excellent soundtrack, great driving, good characterisation and an excellent lead performance. As good as Kevin Spacey is, he's tainted now with the allegations and this was a distraction. The least Edgar Wright or all of Edgar Wright's films.

Thor: Ragnorok - Have been looking forward to this since the director was announced. It's so far from typical Marvel fare it's untrue. If you've seen What We Do In The Shadows, Hunt For The Wilderpeople, or even Flight of the Conchords, then you'll understand what to expect. Irreverent humor and plenty of improv throw a spanner in Superhero works and provide a fantastic diversion from the norm - always a danger that the whole MCU could get staid and dull. Not so on this showing.
