I read the book and found it to be awful. I was surprised I finished it.

Surely it should get a couple of extra point for Emma Watson just being in it???

Last few days were: Iron Man, Incredible Hulk, then Iron Man 2... Tonight Thor... I'm sure you can see where this is going.... seen them before but
a) I love those films
b) I have just invested £300 in a second hand projector and watching the films at over 100" but still in 1080p in my front room is awesome, despite not having a proper projector screen for it yet.

Awesome, cannot wait to see this one, the first two were brilliant.

Watched 'Measure of a man'. French film available on Sky. Need to concentrate but worth watching.

Dr. Strange. Visually great, Cumberbatch was awesome as always and Mads Mikkelsen was also good. However the story was a little lackluster and sometimes predictable and the characters were hard to care about. I did enjoy the film, but it didn't blowing me away. 6/10

Finally watched Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me before I move on and get started on the new series. Glad to see critical opinion of the film has taken a complete 180 since it released as I thought it was a near masterpiece, surely one of Lynch's best. It was surprisingly terrifying in a highly surreal way. Sheryl Lee and Ray Wise blew me away. Highly recommend it (but only after watching the original two series of Twin Peaks, of course). If it was a footballer it would be... Le Tissier perhaps? Strangely brilliant but misunderstood, only to be rated highly years later. 9/10.

The Incredible Burt Wonderstone.

Meh. A few laughs in it, but I think the script was bad and they wasted a big chance with that cast (Carell, Carrey, Wilde, Buscemi, Gandolfini, Arkin). Could have been soo much better.

series 2 is quite good overall i would say, but worth mentioning that it suffers a notorious slump for the middle ~5 episodes. that said the final episode of the series is unbelievable, and the first and last thirds of the season are consistently entertaining.
