Baby Driver (2017)

It’s literally like they asked me what would make my perfect film and then made it.

Ace music, ace car bits, a dorky lead character who is actually dead cool.

It’s ace.

Only negative is there’s a minor lull in the action about 2/3rds in that nearly took away from it.

But no it’s awesome. Go and see it now.

4 Championship Belts out of 5, which will probably rise to 4.5 after another watch.

I've just come out of the cinema after watching this and I agree with you. It's a perfect cinema film.

Lol I dont know I havent seen the first,somebody did say there is a tie in to it,maybe thats why I didnt get the ending,I would give it a watch John Goodman is very good in it

The aliens don't seem similar in any way, ones a big Godzilla type thing and these are wormy.

So, I've just watched it and have to say I really enjoyed it. The acting was so good, which helped as it was quite a claustrophobic setting.
The ending made a lot more sense, if you'd seen the 1st film, as it knitted the two films together. The 3rd instalment is due out this year, again though with a different plot but, with the same background story.
The aliens were a bit weedy like but, suppose they weren't the main story in this film?

Yes , they could have been 2 completely different (good) films but, that small link explains the ending for 10 Cloverfield Lane.
Looking forward to next one to see how they link that in.

It was ok/good on it's own and worth watching. 10 Cloverfield Lane is better, or I think it is.
Watching the 1st one though, would explain the ending of the 2nd.

The first one is decent enough as a film, but the suspense and acting in the second makes it better for me.
