Lol I dont know I havent seen the first,somebody did say there is a tie in to it,maybe thats why I didnt get the ending,I would give it a watch John Goodman is very good in it

The aliens don't seem similar in any way, ones a big Godzilla type thing and these are wormy.

I would say it's overrated but it seems to be rated very highly. I'd say 7/10 but that's down to the kid's acting abilities

Hackers (1995)
I seem to be accidentally watching 90's cult films without meaning to.
Just fancied it. And to be fair, ignoring how old all the technology now looks, it's an ok watch. Jolie looks unreal with that short hair too.
Again, excellent excellent mid 90's techno, dance soundtrack. And a very very early glimpse of a tech demo of WipeOut on a PS1!

Baby Driver (2017)
It’s literally like they asked me what would make my perfect film and then made it.
Ace music, ace car bits, a dorky lead character who is actually dead cool.
It’s ace.
Only negative is there’s a minor lull in the action about 2/3rds in that nearly took away from it.
But no it’s awesome. Go and see it now.
4 Championship Belts out of 5, which will probably rise to 4.5 after another watch.

Decent movie, and a rare DVD I have kept and not sold or given to a charity shop.

I mentioned this film earlier,dont think it was awful,just that in the original you cared about the villagers and the 7,in the remake it felt like I didnt care if they died,wasnt bothered what happened to the town or if any of the 7 dies
