One of my favourites films of all time.

The missus bought Eye in the Sky on DVD recently and watched it last night. War/conflict movies are not normally her bag, so the first surprise was that she actually bought it. The second surprise was how much I enjoyed it as I'd never fancied it when I'd seen the write ups. Very thought provoking and always good to see Alan Rickman in what must have been his last film.

Also watched Kill the Irishman on Netflix over the weekend. Always like Ray Stevenson from when he was in Rome, but the most memorable thing from this film was Vinnie Jones' attempts at an Irish accent. Classic. If you have Netflix it's worth catching it just for this. The film is quite watchable too.

Been to see Certain women, Personal shopper and Get out over the last couple of weeks. Three very different films and I enjoyed them all.

Saw the new Kong movie and didn't see what all the negative reviews were about. Thought it stood alone as a good movie. Hate when people take into consideration how many have been made when reviewing it.

they don't really have that sort of footage on US news, do they? Am I right in thinking it's more of a commentary on voyeurism and invasion of privacy?

watched 9 lives the other night with the baby.

Not a bad film in all honesty. some silly funny moments, Christopher Walken is great in it being himself so to speak and the story is a run of the mill story for a childrens film

last time I was in the States it seemed to be going that way, this would indicate the film isn't a million miles from what's occurring.
